My name is Liv, and I am an illustrator by trade and a dog lover by heart! My fiancé Blair and I are based out of South Shore, Massachusetts, and absolutely LOVE what we do!

When I was little you could always find me drawing and making friends with the animals in my neighborhood. It was almost expected that I would go into an art field or become a Vet. In high school I fell deeper into art and eventually graduated college with a bachelor’s in Fine Art! I didn’t end up using my degree and got a job I hated that had nothing to do with my love for animals and drawing.

2020 was our leap of faith year when we got a puppy (my first), Ripley, and of course i had to dress my boy in his first bandana from Etsy! I loved dressing him in any and every type of accessory, mainly bandanas, because the bandanas gave him so much personality! And he looked so cute in them!! Our older pup Lacey joined in as well, looking absolutely fabulous!

Somewhere in the middle of Covid and time off from work it clicked for me to try making our own bandanas for the pups, and we bought the first sewing machine. It was incredibly overwhelming for me since I had never sewn in my life, but once I got the hang of it, four years later we're here with over 20,000 accessories made for your fabulous pups! 2020 allowed us to take that leap to fully chase the dream, and Proud Dog Apparel was born.

My love for what I get to do every day is unexplainable, and having my fiancé Blair and our gorgeous pups with me every step of the way is beyond words. We are so thankful for all of your support in our dreams and small business!❤️
